For this project, I rebranded a Pennsylvania-based hot dog restaurant, bringing a bold 1950s retro aesthetic to life. The client requested a vintage feel with a mascot. something other than a deer so I created Harry Hellbender, a lively salamander character inspired by the region’s native hellbender species. The brand identity merges retro baseball and wacky racer-style themes, giving the restaurant a fun and energetic personality. Using a triadic color harmony, I crafted a limited yet vibrant palette that enhances the nostalgic appeal. The final deliverables included a primary logo, alternate logos, a fully illustrated mascot, and a themed menu design, all working together to create a cohesive and eye-catching brand.
The objective of this public service advertisement campaign is to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco use, specifically targeting children and adolescents. The campaign aims to prevent the initiation of smoking at an early age by educating young people about the harmful effects of tobacco, while emphasizing the addictive nature of the substance. By presenting the risks in a playful yet serious manner, we hope to deter middle and high school students from experimenting with tobacco, thus preventing potential long-term health consequences.
